I take videos whenever I can get the chance on almost anything I consider worthwhile. Drag racing, car events, motorcycles, interesting places and some fun things including animals.
Largest Alpine Parrot - car destroyer
These native New Zealand parrots are very well known to locals for causing massive damage to parked cars in alpine areas of the South Island. I was lucky I got to these 3 in time. But they gave the vehicle next to us a hard time with a snowboard on the roof. Tell me your story and please like my video.

Has New Zealand got a Rabbit problem?
Переглядів 1305 місяців тому
I was on the way home one morning and saw more rabbits in 20 metres than I had in 1000 kms so figured next time I go past the place I would take pic of them. This was mid afternoon and you can see cars going past on State Highway 1. Not as many as I saw that other morning but today I counted 14 along the fence line and another 6 in the paddock.

Small bike Porika Track Day1 part 2
Переглядів 132Рік тому
New Zealand South Island cruise through some of the most spectacular places and all on small bikes. The Porika Track was the toughest thing we did, 1 bike went over the side but was lucky enough to get stopped by a tree and required winching back up. A second bike stopped on the edge of a large drop, several bikes hit a clay patch and skidded causing rider to come off, the track was cut up wors...

Hey bro im looking at getting a hybrid fuga tomorrow, if you still have this car have you had any trans problems?
Hi! I have a question: do coil produce spark by electrical surge/short circuit, means + & - joined thank
Dude that thing is a absolute weapon are you running triple carbs on it?
Perempuan da sama pandai dengan lelaki da
Nice 1
" yellow terrorising heads !" Laugh 😃 😀 😄 😁 🤣 ahhhhh
There are shit drivers everywhere. Christchurch isn't particularly bad compared to any of the places I've driven around NZ and the world.
Are you using any kind of trolling motor? If so what size?
Hey man i suggest getting a throttle controller
Sounds awsome can I ask is that the injection 202 also what are your camshaft details im looking at putting a big cam in my injected vk 202
Best talk to a cam guy as the camshaft should compliment all the other parts otherwise it can be underwhelming. Most stock engines respond well to mild-medium cams. This is carbed however my old injected motor made 158rwhp, I could adjust the maf and timing but the limitation was the intake runners which are ok for torque but fairly restrictive. I found that the ignition required a hot wire to the coil as when the revs rise the voltage would drop and restrict the revs.
Cheers mate much appreciated
I drive fuel tankers in Chch and recognise all the roads. I could actually predict what most people were going to mess up in this video as it happens so often. It is just lazy driving. If you can't be bothered to do it properly stay off the road. Cheers for the video mate 👏👏👏
I can relate to you, I used to do around 3500kms a week around the South Island every week.
Don’t know why you wouldn’t use a plug tap to chase threads and grease them on the way in to pick up any shrapnel. Then you’d wash out the whole block before you assemble it. Same with mains.
LISTEN TO THE PUSHROD ROAD GRU
Still worth restoring on sentimental value alone, a family heirloom.
Can i install a diffrent ignition coil on my dirtbike
Definitely not supercharged
So the car at the end your just complaining how low it is??
Actually, how dumb the driver was, what do you think was hitting the road?
It's pretty impressive performance from the old 202 engine,I can guess that it's running a non stock camshaft & carby. It goes about as good as the Nissan RB30DE did in my VL Commodore, the DOHC engine did 0-100 km/h in 5.8 seconds & it got 10.5 litres per 100 kilometres on a combined city/highway cycle which is likely less than that 202 would drink because even in my dads old HQ Kingswood the 66 kilowatt 9 Port red 202 engine with The single barrel Bendix Stromberg carburettor got 14-15 litres per 100 kilometres which wasn't great !
You like stats huh... So you compare a pushrod 6 that was introduced in 1964 as a 149, with a modified 1990's VL Nissan motor as they were not DOHC from factory and it couldn't do a sub 6 second 0-100km/h. Also the 202 red is 9 port and the 3.3 black was 12 port and was limited by the then new smog rules. Some minor changes will get the 202 running quicker and more economical than an RB30. The HQ was heavy and underpowered but the same motor in an LJ Torana went pretty good and the factory XU-1 was dam quick in the 70's. There are some extreme N/A 202 Holdens drag racing in the 10second bracket
Hello, That's 2 seconds faster than a HDT VK SS group a! What power and how much internal engine work?
Wow! Amazing... What kind of coil is that???
That things sounds fkn violent. I love it. Top job mate❤
Sounds great mate can you please tell me what the Cam is As I’d like to get one
The cam you need is one that suits other modifications. This was to match the increased flow through the engine that the slightly modified YT Alloy head had and to account for the triple 45 DCOE carbs, manual box, diff ratio, tire size, exhaust, headers, spark etc. The outlet cam lift was 0.510" with duration @ .050" lift 246. Inlet lift 0.506", duration @ .050" lift 240
Nah man Auckland. We got tailgaters, slow-mo drivers, morning panic rushers, drivers putting on make up, drivers with loud exhausts with no turbo, Asians, Indians and worst of all woman drivers😁
Hey mate, iam always coming back to these vids lol, you remember what the cam specs were for this? My 186 is out of the car and just had the tripples rebuilt so time for bearings, pistons and head work, just trying to figure out the cam side of it and valve springs to suit following that choice, did you have to recess yours much to avoid coil bind?
When you buy stronger springs then you need to measure the intended valve lift and check for binding, a head specialist can do this. The cam needs to match everything else you have on the car for inlet. exhaust and spark plus overall gearing and intended use. A 202+.060" cam in 186 will not work as efficient as a 186 designed cam as the cc's are smaller
@@202ToranaMan yea wish I was allowed to swap the 186 out but my Oldmans centamental motor has to stay with the car, ended up with a package and got heads machined to take the viton seals, roller rockers on arp studs to help with cam lift, seats recessed slightly for coil bind and retainer clearance checked, off to auz and Bangkok in a week so will get it up and running when back, Auckland cams helped me out, had a xu1 cam in it and we went a bit different so hopefully she a fun one to drive,,, cheers for the response mate
@@davidhole8229 You are progressing well. I want to see it when you are done. Just to give you a 186 story, I owned a rocket 186 LC back in the mid 1980's in Western Sydney. It was a regular visitor at Oran Park drag meets in 1000ft format as Castlereagh strip was shut down. This little 186 embarrassed the GT Owners club and would cross the line at well over 110mph and in the 10+seconds. I took it into the dyno shop at Mt Druitt and the guy was astonished as he raced a 202 Torana and it was putting more HP out than his race car. I still remember the day I demolished an A9X from the lights on Sunnyholt Road even with wheel spin in 1st and 2nd. I bought it from a dealer like this albeit with a split diaphragm in the centre side sucker.
Starfire vk tachometer?
Factory 202
hey there what size jetting/chokes were you running ?
38's on this but probably should have been 36's
A big chunky cam isn't necessarily the right cam. Talk to the right people and get the right advice
That goes without needing to say, just like you don't buy a cam first, it should be the last thing to buy so it suits the other mods. This engine was highly modified in other areas. Even the tyre and diff options need to be considered as does the end use.
@@202ToranaMan Very good points 202.
Amazing Awesome mate
Thhe silver Honda SL125 is a 1973 model.
I experience lots of drivers like everyday getting close and fast on my tail even if I'm travelling the correct speed limit, looking so impatient. They make me feel pressured to have to get out of their way, despite doing the wrong thing. I do wish they would adhere to speed signs more, so as to show they know their meanings, (as they're obviously there for a reason). And drive to them. I've even experienced impatience from them when driving in zones of 30km, especially on narrow roads. And I hate to worry about the increase of danger they're creating. Even when speed signs are lowered, they still don't seem to care.
Use to ride this road a lot on motorbikes, amazing how many cars were stopped to cool down, those turns were totally unforgiving, glad I had to experience it, people would say you don't have a licence until one has driven the Arthurs Pass Zig Zags.
That was my 1st driving lesson. Otira to Arthur's pass before the viaduct.
Many thanks for the video, good sir...Another Kiwi here, a sincere and genuine question, in your opinion, would the Fugo be suitable to tow a 1200-kilo caravan?
It all depends on the down load on the drawbar and if its single or dual axle I guess. The other factor is the rating on the towbar as they all mount differently. I have no experience on towing with these best talk to the experts.
@@202ToranaMan Many thanks for your reply, much apprecaited.
Thank ! I did very helpfull. I have a question for you, do you know which reasons could be the causes of low voltage inlet coil ?
Maybe the regulator/rectifier or bad earth causing it, I am not an expert on this. I ran a Hot wire via the ignition on my Torana as it would drop below 7volts as the revs went up, after that fix it would it would rev past 7000rpm
What exhaust you use pak, can you upload video for the exhaust?
Lived in Akl especailly in south auckland, was rewa but Chch is worse than there. I give up to drive in rush hour. Busing is stress free~
it work
How does it sound in person compared to on camera? I find that when I hear cars in person they usually sound way better than on camera. Is it still quite raspy?
HA! I remember being chased by a MOT cop on one of those XJ750s, he never stood a chance.🤣🤣🤣
Where is this? I'm in NZ and looking for a classic Japanese bike club to join.

In 1964 our fam traveled this road it was gravel then in our vanguard dad towed countless cars up the zigzag as they couldn't make it up
